Interactive Fractal

An interactive fractal navigator that lets you explore the Mandelbrot fractal by freely zooming and panning around.

The fractal calculations are done on the GPU in WebGL, allowing for free navigation in real-time. The zoom is as deep as floating-point precision allows. By supersampling the fractal, a clearer picture is obtained (antialiasing) in exchange for speed.

Navigate the fractal by using the mouse wheel and dragging with the left mouse button. On touch screens, the usual one and two-finger gestures for 2D navigation can be used. The iteration and supersampling counts can be changed on the fly in the demo settings.
